that in mind. for us, going to be in the mid- 90s today with south winds 5 to 10. 79 at 9:00. 92 at noon and 92 at 5:00. and the air quality is unhealthy. angie? >> hope you're off to a wonderful wednesday. good morning, so great to see. let's talk about what we're doing with early on. just construction. no major incidents or accidents to tell you about. if you're traveling 95 going southbound at 216 you're going to want to watch for it. should be clearing in the next half hour. that's the same situation going northbound near powder mill. let's take it over to 270 in the local lanes. that's where we're going to want to watch for it near falls road and that's going southbound. in virginia 66, overall okay on. coming out of manassas making your way inside the belt away. 395 heading northbound. no problem. drivers moving at a good pace. making their way past the duke exit. and before this we're tracking 95 and so far so good. we're still looking at about that one hour drive to get out of fredericksburg continuing towards the springfield interchange. back to you. >>> we've been talking about ea

:30 this morning. as a result of this, you want to use route 40 or 99 as the alternate. take it over to 270. slick road conditions from frederick to the split but no major problems to get there. a water main break in chevy chase. this is willard road between river road and north park avenue. and that's where we have crews on the scene trying to get this under control. avoid the area. in to dc we go. inbound new york avenue, the drive is very wet. take it slow and watch for high water. 95 in virginia, we still are keeping an eye on an accident past 630 near stafford and overall you are doing okay trying to get to that micking bowl. andrea, over to you. >>> as howard told us we are under a flood watch until 9:00 p.m. and jessica doyle is joining us live from alexandria where heavy rain always prompts concerns of flooding. the puddle near your foot is getting deeper, it seems. >> it is indeed and this is what people will see when they are driving an today and walking to work. this is a very good day to have go learn. we have puddles accumulating here in old town alexandria. i'm on king street where i

in the lower 80s. thanks for joining us. right now we begin with 95 southbound. we have construction at 218 area. going northbound you are fine. this should be clear inspection the next half hour or so. moving to the outer loop, everything is clear from t 5 to -- 95 to 270. smooth sailing. virginia, 86 eastbound, making your way manassas and beyond, looks like a nice quiet commute. take you to 395, tracking the northbound trip here. you want to watch for that traffic pattern at the 14th street bridge. that's where you are forced to lose a left listen. wrap it up before this. 95 northbound no complaints making your way from fredericksburg to the springfield interchange. back to andrea. >>> at 7:00 this morning, polling stations will open across the district, even though this is only primary day because of the city's overwhelmingly democratic population. voters will essentially be choosing their next mayor. by all accounts mayor fenty is in trouble. polls show him trailing vincent gray. both men tried to earn last movie minute support. >> reporter: gray met commuters at the metro station and
